The Sierra Club is hiring a Climate Campaign Representative to join our Maryland Chapter. This full-time role focuses on advancing the Chapter's climate and energy goals through campaign development and public engagement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute campaign strategies for climate and energy priorities.
- Build and mobilize grassroots support through organizing and coalition partnerships.
- Advocate for strong climate policies at the local and state level.
- Communicate campaign goals and successes to members, media, and the public.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in campaign organizing, advocacy, or environmental work.
- Strong communication and coalition-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Commitment to the Sierra Club's mission of environmental protection and justice.
Work Mode
This is a hybrid position. Work will involve a combination of remote work and in-person activities across the Maryland Chapter's operational areas, which include Riverdale, MD, Baltimore, MD, College Park, MD, Washington, DC, and Alexandria, VA.
