Sedgwick is hiring a Client Services - Director (REMOTE)

About the Role

What You'll Do

Lead client service operations for high-complexity accounts, shaping strategies that enhance satisfaction, support retention, and contribute to revenue growth. You’ll manage end-to-end service delivery for major clients, including designing renewal plans, overseeing contract updates, and preparing detailed service instructions.

Conduct pre-renewal reviews to assess client performance and identify potential concerns, ensuring proactive resolution before renewal discussions. Deliver stewardship reports that highlight trends and risks affecting client programs, helping clients make informed decisions.

Act as a cross-functional leader by engaging internal departments—such as technology, operations, and business development—to remove obstacles related to processes, systems, or staffing. Coordinate invoicing, audits, and receivables follow-up while serving as the final escalation point for critical service issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, or a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years in an account management role, or 5 years as an adjuster with 2 years in a supervisory position
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex service models, and oversee multi-location programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Professional certifications such as CPCU, AIC, or ARM are strongly preferred

Leadership Responsibilities

Oversee local Client Services staff by conducting performance evaluations, setting development goals, and supporting career progression. Hire new team members, deliver coaching, and ensure adherence to company policies and training standards. Foster a work environment rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Benefits

  • Flexible work schedule with full remote capabilities
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) plan available from day one of employment
