Client Onboarding & PSP Operations Manager
This role is responsible for driving the end-to-end onboarding of merchant clients, from initial engagement through successful activation. You will serve as the central point of coordination between internal teams, external payment service providers (PSPs), banks, and merchants, ensuring all documentation, compliance requirements, and business narratives align with onboarding criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple onboarding pipelines, managing timelines and deliverables across various stages
- Prepare and submit accurate applications to PSPs and banking partners
- Collect, verify, and organize KYC and KYB documentation for businesses across different jurisdictions
- Act as the primary contact for direct communication with merchants and financial partners, resolving queries and addressing onboarding challenges
- Ensure business models and supporting narratives meet risk and underwriting expectations
- Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and proactively mitigate risks
- Continuously refine onboarding workflows to improve efficiency and approval rates
What You Bring
- Proven experience in client onboarding, financial operations, or compliance within regulated environments
- Familiarity with corporate legal structures and cross-border business operations
- Clear understanding of PSP underwriting standards and risk assessment criteria
- Strong organizational skills, precision in documentation, and the ability to operate independently
- Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism
Preferred Experience
- Background working with high-risk sectors such as forex, proprietary trading, gaming, or cryptocurrency
- Direct experience supporting B2B clients in a merchant services or fintech context
