About the Role

Standard Chartered is looking for a Client Centre Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will connect with potential and existing customers primarily through phone calls, with the goal of generating sales, building lasting relationships, and achieving defined targets. You will be a key part of our commitment to putting the client at the heart of everything we do.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote our products and services.
  • Understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Handle customer inquiries, objections, and complaints in a professional and effective manner.
  • Accurately record and update customer information and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with sales admin, Quality Assurance, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a telesales or similar sales role.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of motivation, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain resilient in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
