WCG International Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Claims Specialist for a 12-month fixed term. In this customer service and clerical role, you will be responsible for answering client inquiries, processing claims, and invoicing Veterans Affairs Canada, all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
What You'll Do
- Work with the User Support Team to resolve participant claim issues by responding to questions and resolving tickets.
- Provide backup for the User Support Team by answering calls from participants and service delivery staff.
- Process client claims and service provider invoices accurately, ensuring contractual and legislative requirements are met.
- Review, process, and invoice all RSVP services to the contractual standard.
- Provide quality assurance for claims and invoices processed by other team members.
- Answer inquiries from field staff regarding claims and administrative questions via phone and secure message.
- Prepare cheques and EFT payments.
- Complete filing, mailing, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and work both independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and enhance skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, continually changing environment.
- Previous experience in claims processing or a financial services environment.
- A high level of confidentiality; employment is contingent on obtaining a Security Clearance – Reliability Status.
