Allianz Australia is looking for a Claims Service Manager to provide strategic leadership and direction to multiple claims teams. In this key role, you will ensure workers and Agencies are supported in achieving strong return to health and work outcomes while meeting all contractual, legislative, and business requirements.
What You'll Do
- Advocate a customer-centric culture through proactive relationship engagement with key Agency contacts and operational management.
- Ensure all practices meet contractual, legislative, and business requirements.
- Lead claims teams to ensure all performance metrics are met so the business complies with all contractual requirements.
- Implement processes and a claims management model that ensures return to work (RTW) outcomes and business targets are met or exceeded.
- Provide strategic claims management recommendations to improve worker recovery timeframes.
- Collaborate with manager and peers to develop and implement innovative approaches to continuously improve performance and the end customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in Workers Compensation and knowledge of Workers Compensation Legislation and Regulation.
- Expert knowledge of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the business as well as Workers’ Compensation claims management models and cost drivers.
- Significant experience in a people leadership role in a complex, matrixed workers compensation insurance organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower people to develop individual and team potential.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
- Demonstrated experience of strategy development and is able to work with multiple teams to align understanding of relevant regulatory/legislative compliance requirements impacting the organisation, translating vision to action to achieve desired results.
- Highly developed stakeholder management skills which enable cross functional thinking in the development and implementation of strategies.
- Able to partner effectively with senior business leaders and establishing strong professional relationships externally and across the enterprise to influence outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact, and influence.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
