Hannover Re is looking for a Claims Department Employee to join our Property & Casualty Global Services Claims department in Hannover, Germany. This position is temporarily limited to 24 months and starts immediately. It is also suitable for part-time work, with a minimum of 23 hours per week.
What You'll Do
- Support the claims department in daily operational business and contribute to internal strategic projects.
- Assist in the review, assessment, and processing of incoming loss notifications.
- Create structured presentations, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to initiatives for process optimization, particularly in reporting, data analysis, and workflow improvement.
- Work closely with colleagues from various international locations and gain insights into global claims processes.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in law, business administration, insurance, or a comparable field.
- First points of contact with the (re)insurance industry, ideally through an internship or student assistant role.
- An independent and self-reliant way of working.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient handling of MS Office.
- Negotiation-level English and German language skills.
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness for professional and personal development.
