Responsibilities
- Create and execute a long-term vision for the city's technology advancement and digital evolution.
- Direct cybersecurity and information security programs, including managing risks, addressing vulnerabilities, and preparing for potential incidents.
- Provide strategic direction for IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cloud environments, telecom systems, and digital service delivery.
- Work closely with the Information Technology Department to maintain operations and advance key technology goals.
- Offer expert guidance to the Mayor and senior leaders on technology planning, funding decisions, and new technological trends.
- Lead large-scale technology initiatives, system enhancements, and modernization projects across municipal departments.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, contracts, and third-party providers to ensure performance, security compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support the planning and oversight of the city’s technology budget and capital investment in IT assets.
- Encourage the adoption of technology to increase government efficiency, openness, and public access to services.
Compensation
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
