Snap Collective is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our strategic direction, operations, and positioning in the international art world. You will be responsible for scaling the business, shaping its culture, and opening new pathways for artists globally.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to our 30-person, remote-first international team
- Develop new business models and partnerships that expand our global impact
- Scale our brand internationally while preserving Snap's high curatorial standards
- Build and nurture a strong network in the global art and culture space
- Represent Snap at international art fairs, events, and key meetings in cities like New York, Paris, and Berlin
- Communicate confidently and clearly with stakeholders, partners, and media
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
- Work in close dialogue with the small circle of family shareholders
- Drive business performance and innovation — including integrating AI into core workflows
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience (e.g., CEO, Managing Director, or equivalent) in a profit-oriented, art-related or high-curation business
- Deep understanding of contemporary art and real respect for the artist's voice
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic vision and operational strength
- Strong communicator with fluency in English
- Comfortable working in a distributed, international team
- Willing to take responsibility, even when things get challenging
- Willingness to travel globally and engage in person with artists, partners, and the art world at large
Nice to Have
- Additional languages a plus
- Experience with or openness to AI integration is a big plus
