Applied Intuition accelerates the global adoption of safe, AI-driven machines. As our Chief Engineer - Trucking, you will own end-to-end leadership for Applied’s strategic engagements with global truck OEMs, architecting solutions for autonomy and Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) and managing cross-functional teams to drive successful business and technical outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end technical leadership for Applied’s strategic engagements with global truck OEMs.
- Lead cross-functional teams, plan resources, and manage budgets to achieve successful business and technical outcomes.
- Deeply understand customer needs for autonomy and SDV, solving their most complex challenges with our product and solutions.
- Engage directly with customer engineers across domains to define use-cases and craft technical solutions.
- Cultivate executive-level connections, becoming a trusted customer advisor.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years experience working with trucking or automotive OEMs and suppliers.
- Prior work in automotive software, autonomous vehicles, or robotics.
- Familiarity with modern software development.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Fluency in Japanese.
- Prior experience with technical Business Development.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $180,000 - $250,000 USD annually + equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units.
