Framestore Chicago is looking for a CG Generalist Intern to join our award-winning CG team. This is a 4-month paid internship focused on developing a versatile skill set across multiple disciplines within the 3D pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Develop skills in a production environment with a focus on multiple disciplines within the 3D pipeline, including modeling, texturing, look development, and lighting.
- Work alongside experienced artists, attend project reviews, and take creative briefings.
- Receive instruction and regular reviews of your work from a matched mentor.
What We're Looking For
- Foundational knowledge of industry-standard software such as Houdini, Maya, Nuke, and/or Substance Painter.
- Working knowledge of Arnold or comparable rendering platforms.
- Ability to interpret and follow reference material to create clean, highly detailed, and accurate imagery across different styles with an emphasis on photorealism.
- Familiarity with Linux systems or eagerness to learn.
- Current work authorization for the USA.
- Availability to work 40 hours a week.
