Bachem is seeking Chemists to join our growing team and support our active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing. As a Process Chemist, you will apply your chemical and technical expertise to ensure the timely production of APIs under both GMP and non-GMP standards in our Bubendorf location.

What You'll Do

Synthesize APIs and their intermediates based on liquid-phase or solid-phase peptide synthesis technology.
Purify APIs and intermediates using techniques like preparative chromatography or countercurrent distribution.
Optimize, scale-up, and automate manufacturing processes and be responsible for their implementation in production.
Contribute to investment projects for the procurement, qualification, and commissioning of innovative production equipment.

What We're Looking For

Completed university-level degree in Chemistry.
Deep understanding of technical equipment and interdisciplinary interest.

Excellent German and good English language skills.
