Bachem is seeking Chemists to join our growing team and support our active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing. As a Process Chemist, you will apply your chemical and technical expertise to ensure the timely production of APIs under both GMP and non-GMP standards in our Bubendorf location.
What You'll Do
- Synthesize APIs and their intermediates based on liquid-phase or solid-phase peptide synthesis technology.
- Purify APIs and intermediates using techniques like preparative chromatography or countercurrent distribution.
- Optimize, scale-up, and automate manufacturing processes and be responsible for their implementation in production.
- Contribute to investment projects for the procurement, qualification, and commissioning of innovative production equipment.

- Completed university-level degree in Chemistry.
