Unknown Company is hiring a Channel Business Manager

About the Role

At Palo Alto Networks, our mission is to be the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting our digital way of life. We are looking for a Channel Business Manager to focus on relationship management to achieve measurable results in increased revenue, market share, and depth within each partner sales team at assigned Partner Accounts. Your focus will be enhancing alignment between sales teams and executing with excellence across account planning and pipeline management.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute business plans in collaboration with Account Directors, driving all aspects of the partner relationship to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the partner is well-positioned to deliver successful customer implementations and deployments.
  • Work well in a team environment to ensure partner and customer satisfaction.
  • Design a compelling value proposition that inspires strategic partners to promote our solutions.
  • Develop and activate services based on our emerging and established technologies, increasing revenue growth.
  • Liaise closely with our product teams to innovate new solutions and GTM strategies to drive differentiation and take market share.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication across the region with partners to build strong partnerships.
  • Lead regular business performance and relationship reviews with senior management and various stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain performance reports and activity dashboards.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Channel Management or Business Development roles within the enterprise software ecosystem and network security industry.
  • Understanding of the local market of East and West Africa.
  • Understanding of SP & GSI operating models.
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing, and solution development.
  • Strong initiative and ability to think creatively with excellent presentation, written, and overall communication skills.
  • Consistent track record of leading complex sales situations through negotiation and conflict resolution.

Team & Environment

The Channel organization is a strategic pillar and an extension of the territory sales team.
