At Cardinal Ritter Senior Services, part of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, we are inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ and dedicated to providing person-centered care. We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team within a CRSS Skilled Nursing Community. In this role, you will function under the direction of RNs and LPNs, administering medications, assisting residents, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, administer, and record medications by all routes except parenteral.
- Observe, evaluate, report, and document resident responses to medications.
- Monitor and assist with resident call lights and report observations to the RN or LPN.
- Administer specified treatments and perform/record vital signs and weights as ordered.
- Safeguard medication preparation and storage areas, and reorder/remove unused medications per policy.
- Maintain accurate accounts of controlled substances and participate in monthly medication exchanges.
- Demonstrate knowledge of infection control policies to maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Pass nourishments in a timely manner and assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Attend staff meetings and in-services, and adhere to fire and disaster procedures.
- Check for resident name bands and the proper function of code alert bracelets.
- Assist RNs and LPNs as requested and perform other assigned duties.

Team & Environment
You will function under the direction of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) within our skilled nursing community.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position.
