Corewell Health is looking for a Central Monitor Tech to provide remote patient surveillance. You will use monitoring technology to interpret patient data, primarily focusing on ECG and video for low-risk patients, and work collaboratively to ensure patient safety.

What You'll Do

Remotely monitor patients and patient information using remote monitoring technology.
Monitor and interpret heart rhythm or other patient data to detect variances from baseline.
Review patient information to determine normal heart rhythm patterns and prior variances.
Observe the screen of the cardiac monitor and inform the Registered Nurse of variances.
Document and post information on patient records as applicable.
Provide continuous observation and surveillance of multiple adult or pediatric patients via video monitoring technology.
Interact with and redirect patients via remote video monitoring technology.
Observe the screen of the video monitor and inform clinical bedside staff of situations needing intervention.
Answer calls for inquiries concerning patients from medical staff and the patient care team.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program.
