Riverside Health System is hiring a CDM Analyst to manage, coordinate, and implement the organization's Charge Description Master (CDM). In this role, you will ensure the integrity of charge data through detailed analysis, audits, and updates while coordinating the work of the CDM team.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a complete, accurate, and standardized charge master.
- Conduct an annual review of the Charge Master and quarterly updates.
- Maintain and update all charge master related software.
- Process CDM requests to ensure all additions, changes, and deletions are consistent with proper charging, billing, coding, and pricing practices.
- Provide analysis and assistance to all levels of clinical management in support of changes to the CDM.
- Distribute and provide education on all coding and billing regulatory requirements.
- Complete ACD requests and review department charge tickets and charge capture policies and procedures.
- Analyze data within the CDM and assign accurate CPT/HCPCS and revenue codes ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate the work for the CDM team.
- Conduct quarterly audits of Corporate CDM against all individual department CDM systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and work charge review and account work queues.
- Identify trends in charges and notify management.
- Develop solutions to improve coding and billing functions.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of Revenue Cycle or Charge Description Master experience
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) - American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)
- Six Sigma Green Belt - Riverside Health System (RHS)
- CRCR - Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)
