About the Role

Helprise is looking for a Cash Collection Specialist with German to manage and execute collection activities, ensuring timely payments, resolving issues, and maintaining effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders. What You'll Do

  • Perform daily collection activities in line with priorities set by the debt collection system.
  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts, secure payments, and record all interactions.
  • Build a solid understanding of customer profiles and sensitivities for effective issue resolution.
  • Communicate delinquency information to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader and Sales, following escalation procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve unidentified payments and payment-related issues in cooperation with the Global Cash Application Team.
  • Manage disputes, collect necessary documentation, and assign cases to relevant owners.
  • Identify recurring issues and escalate them for root cause analysis.
  • Keep up to date with AR best practices and technology improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluency in German (C1) and very good knowledge of English.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Collections or Accounts Receivable.
  • Practical knowledge of accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – proactive, open, solution-oriented.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience preferably on the German market.
  • Experience with accounting and cash application software is a plus.
