You're an ideal candidate if: • You excel in programming languages like Scala (mandatory) and Python (advantageous) • You are fluent in French and English to communicate with our global team • You have previously created high-performance applications with robust concurrent access and minimal response times • You demonstrate profound understanding of data modeling, parallel processing, and comprehensive knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark) and distributed data storage systems (e.g., Scylla DB) • You possess advanced expertise in containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) • You have experience with test-driven development and are comfortable with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Bamboo • You have designed and optimized data processing pipelines using tools such as Airflow • You bring proven Machine Learning engineering experience applied to Big Data, utilizing frameworks like Apache Spark • You integrate AI tools into software development practices • You are self-motivated with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities • You have worked in Agile/Scrum environments • You possess minimum five years of professional Big Data development experience Your Responsibilities: • Design and develop innovative products/applications and enhance existing solutions using Scala and relevant technologies • Engage in complete software development lifecycle: planning, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, support, and documentation • Craft high-quality code for creating and maintaining robust, scalable applications • Collaborate closely with data scientists to comprehend their models and transform complex algorithms into scalable solutions • Manage machine learning model lifecycles, including testing, deployment, and production environment monitoring • Maintain clear documentation of processes and best practices to ensure team-wide adoption • Work cross-functionally with Big Data developers, Data Ops, and IT Ops teams for seamless ML solution integration • Serve as an engaged, positive member of a self-organized, multidisciplinary Agile team • Offer assistance and remain open to receiving help • Stay receptive to others' ideas while maintaining mutual respect • Collaborate with Product Managers and product teams to define organizational future solutions • Provide and justify technological recommendations
