The Role We're seeking a Machine Learning Engineer (Computer Vision) to investigate, conceptualize, and implement advanced models that elevate our video processing pipeline's quality and efficiency. Your focus will involve developing algorithms for automated color correction, scene detection, and audio synchronization, integrating these solutions into robust production environments. You'll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver features supporting organizational growth and customer requirements. What You'll Do - Investigate and develop computer vision and deep learning models for color correction, scene analysis, and audio/video alignment. - Construct and maintain training and inference pipelines using advanced frameworks. - Design and implement models capable of operating efficiently across large-scale, distributed video datasets. - Engage closely with backend and SRE teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems. - Assess model performance using real-world data and optimize for precision, velocity, and scalability. - Remain current on emerging developments in media machine learning, image processing, and audio feature extraction. What We're Looking For - 4+ years of applied machine learning experience, preferably specialized in computer vision or audio analysis. - Advanced proficiency in Python and related frameworks. - Comprehensive understanding of image processing, color spaces, and feature extraction techniques. - Demonstrated experience with audio signal processing and synchronization methodologies. - Familiarity with expansive data pipelines and distributed training approaches. - Bonus: Experience managing GPU clusters, containerized machine learning workflows, or cloud-based ML services.
