Freelance Latin America is looking for a Care Coordinator to manage and coordinate all aspects of client care for our professional services organization in the healthcare space. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining smooth daily operations, and driving strong client satisfaction through effective coordination and communication.
What You'll Do
- Oversee end-to-end client onboarding by ensuring all intake documentation and admission agreements are completed prior to service start.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including demographics, preferences, and care plans, in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Manage and optimize caregiver schedules to ensure all authorized service hours are fully staffed.
- Proactively address caregiver call-outs, resignations, and coverage gaps to prevent service disruptions.
- Recruit and onboard new caregivers as needed to maintain consistent coverage.
- Verify and clear daily visits to support timely billing and payroll processing.
- Manage authorization updates, discharges, pending contracts, and timesheet issues with proper documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Document all communications, service updates, and incidents in real time.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational transparency and efficiency.
- Build and maintain professional, empathetic relationships with clients, caregivers, and external partners.
- Handle sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and empathy.
- Prioritize urgent operational needs while maintaining long-term service quality and compliance.
