Jobgether is hiring a Carbon Services Data Analyst to join a collaborative, fully remote team across North America. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to support data-driven sustainability initiatives and carbon management projects by analyzing critical data, generating reports, and communicating findings.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Carbon, ESG, Sustainability Consulting, and Energy & Performance Engineering teams to deliver data-informed solutions.
- Support clients and internal teams with GHG accounting, data management, validation, and Excel-based analysis.
- Perform detailed analyses related to Scope 1-3 GHG inventories, target feasibility assessments, emissions forecasting, reduction modeling, and cost modeling.
- Draft and co-deliver reports and presentations that clearly communicate climate impact data and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to automate routine data cleaning and analysis tasks.
- Conduct self-led research and leverage subject matter expertise to enhance technical knowledge of GHG standards, methodologies, and regulatory disclosures.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a professional setting contributing directly to project delivery.
- Passion for data analysis and climate action, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large datasets.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop analyses, create visualizations, and communicate results effectively.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Nice to Have
- Experience in sustainability data, GHG accounting, automation of data workflows, financial data analysis, project management, or climate science knowledge.
