Jobgether is hiring a Data Scientist I to contribute to the development of predictive analytics and AI capabilities that impact marketplace efficiency and operational decision-making. You will enhance existing models, build new machine learning solutions, and translate business challenges into data-driven insights in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

Develop, refine, and deploy machine learning models powering marketplace operations, including scoring, pricing, and optimization.
Contribute to both greenfield and ongoing projects, bringing innovative approaches to predictive and prescriptive analytics.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into data science solutions.
Design experiments, evaluate model performance, and implement testing frameworks to ensure accuracy, reliability, and business impact.
Explore new datasets and techniques to expand AI capabilities and enhance decision-making.
Support model deployment and monitoring in cloud environments (AWS preferred), ensuring smooth operation and scalability.

What We're Looking For

Approximately 2 years of experience as a data scientist or equivalent role, with demonstrable impact on business outcomes.
Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, or LightGBM.
Solid SQL skills and the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Understanding of statistical modeling, experimentation techniques, and exposure to deep learning or generative AI.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and interest in learning MLOps practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Comfortable working in small, collaborative teams with direct impact on products and processes.

Nice to Have

Experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau for data analysis purposes.
Familiarity with end-to-end model lifecycle, including feature engineering, model deployment, and performance monitoring.
