Puget Sound Energy is looking for a seasonal Campground Host to support operations at recreation areas managed by the Baker Recreation/Energy Production Department. This temporary role is based at Kulshan Campground, boat launch, and day-use areas near Concrete, Washington, with some duties at Lake Shannon Day-use Park. You will serve as a key point of contact for visitors and ensure a positive, safe experience.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers and provide information.
- Distribute brochures and leaflets.
- Communicate and enforce campground and park rules.
- Collect and account for fees where applicable.
- Track daily fee sheets accurately.
- Perform light cleaning of restrooms and general litter control.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to live on site and be on call as required.
- Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 3 months (provided by PSE).
- Valid Washington state driver's license.
- Ownership of a camp trailer or motor home.
- A high-school education.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Completion of Puget Sound Energy Corporate Ethics and Policies training (to be provided).
- Ability to wear provided uniforms.
Nice to Have
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to do simple math and ledger entries.
- Handheld radio skills.
- Ability to manage conflict professionally when necessary.
Team & Environment
This position will interface with PSE staff, crews, and the general public.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $2,600 per month.
