Chime was looking for a Campaign & Donor Relations Associate

Chime, the technology backbone of Hillel International, is hiring a Campaign & Donor Relations Associate to support our mission by managing donor communications, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating financial processing and stewardship. You will play a key role within our Advancement and Philanthropic Services team.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for donor inquiries via phone and email.
  • Manage the production and distribution of donor acknowledgments, tribute notifications, and pledge reminders.
  • Track and report on planned giving commitments and documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date constituent records and ensure accuracy across all touchpoints.
  • Accurately process incoming donations across multiple channels including checks, wires, stock, online gifts, and donor-advised funds.
  • Partner with the Finance team to reconcile donations and ensure accurate coding and reporting.
  • Serve as a liaison between Advancement and Finance teams and local Hillels regarding gift processing.
  • Manage donor records in Salesforce, including gift entry, donor profiles, and engagement activity.
  • Run regular reports to track campaign and donor activity; perform data audits.
  • Support direct mail and digital fundraising campaigns by managing lists and gift imports with external vendors.
  • Play an integral role in backend logistics and data support for Advancement events and webinars.
  • Collaborate with programmatic teams to ensure donor information is gathered, shared, and used effectively.
  • Take on special projects and administrative tasks to support the broader Campaign Services team.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • At least two years of professional work experience or internships.
  • Passion for mission-driven work and curiosity about fundraising strategy.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A self-starting attitude with a collaborative spirit and willingness to learn.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of donor data.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with Salesforce or another CRM.
  • Experience in a fundraising, customer service, or data-focused role.
