Munson Healthcare is looking for a Call Center Triage RN to join our Centralized Nurse Triage team. In this role, you will provide front-line support to community callers seeking healthcare information, applying your clinical knowledge to assess needs, deliver guidance, and ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate level of care.
What You'll Do
- Provide front-line support to community callers or patients seeking healthcare-related information.
- Apply physiological, psychosocial and spiritual knowledge in the management of a variety of callers.
- Triage the caller's condition and needs, giving appropriate protocol-driven guidance.
- Direct callers to the most appropriate level of care and provide comfort to the worried well.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently to other members of the care team to ensure caller needs are met in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of a recognized accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and in good standing with the State of Michigan.
- Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and computer software skills.
Nice to Have
- BSN.
- Certification in the specialty area of practice is encouraged.
- Care management experience.
- Patient Triage experience.
- Ambulatory or clinic-based Patient Care experience.
- Experience as participant in continuous quality improvement.
