Role Overview
This position is part of a multidisciplinary team focused on water and wastewater systems, serving municipal and industrial clients across Pennsylvania. You’ll operate under a hybrid work model, splitting time between office and remote settings, with regular in-person attendance expected at your assigned location.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce precise technical drawings for grading, site development, utility piping, and process piping systems with moderate to high complexity
- Generate alignments, profiles, cross sections, and detailed construction documents for infrastructure projects
- Conduct volume and quantity calculations to support engineering and cost estimates
- Support projects involving water distribution networks, storm and sanitary sewers, force mains, and treatment facilities
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines including structural, electrical, and architectural teams
- Engage directly with clients to understand project requirements and technical needs
- Perform field visits to gather measurements and site-specific data when necessary
- Ensure all deliverables align with defined scope, schedule, and budget parameters
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a civil or mechanical design/drafting-related program
- 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in design for civil site development, water/wastewater systems, stormwater management, or erosion and sediment control
- Familiarity with reading and creating construction documentation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design and modeling tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Technical Tools
Primary software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office suite.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, depending on experience. Eligible roles may qualify for incentive compensation.
