Teleflex Incorporated is hiring a Buyer to join our mission to improve health and quality of life. In this role, you will be essential to maintaining consistent material flow at optimal inventory levels and cost. You will coordinate cost reduction activities and uphold budgetary standards while ensuring our customers' needs are met.
What You'll Do
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure on-time shipments and achieve cost reductions.
- Register and maintain supplier information (pricing, bank details, address) in the SAP system.
- Manage Purchase Price Variance (PPV) metrics.
- Maintain and update vendor files.
- Ensure suppliers comply with all contract terms.
- Support projects involving new product introductions or new material acquisitions.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Serve as the main point of contact for company-supplier relationships.
- Support the selection and evaluation of new suppliers.
- Potentially act as an Internal Auditor.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the function and may provide related training.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering, administration, or other relevant field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar Buyer position.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 13485.

- Proficiency in SAP, Agile, and APICS systems.
