About the Role
This position leads the commercial direction for hepatitis C, specialty care, and oncology products, integrating market insights and cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable growth and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and implementation for assigned therapeutic areas
- Develop and execute commercial plans to achieve revenue targets
- Guide cross-functional teams in market access, marketing, and sales
- Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with medical affairs and regulatory teams on product positioning
- Manage budget allocation and financial forecasting for business units
- Drive brand strategy development for hepatitis C, oncology, and specialty care products
- Oversee performance of field sales teams and key account managers
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations
- Represent commercial interests in executive-level discussions
- Foster relationships with key external stakeholders and thought leaders
- Evaluate new market opportunities and potential product expansions
- Support launch planning for new product indications or formulations
- Monitor key performance indicators and adjust strategies as needed
- Lead change management initiatives during organizational transitions
- Mentor and develop direct reports and emerging leaders
- Coordinate with supply chain and operations on product availability
- Provide input into long-term portfolio planning
- Ensure alignment between corporate objectives and regional execution
- Champion patient-centric initiatives across therapeutic areas
Nice to Have
- Doctoral degree in pharmacy, medicine, or business administration
- Experience in biotechnology or specialty pharmaceuticals
- Prior leadership role in a global commercial organization
- Direct experience managing field-based sales teams
- Background in health economics or outcomes research
- Familiarity with digital health or patient support platforms
