Zenith American Solutions is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will write requirements for minor software development items and perform testing, in accordance with our company guidelines, client needs, and legislative requirements. What You'll Do
- Analyze programming changes and system enhancements to existing programs; test and verify the accuracy of program changes.
- Develop system changes using RPGLE and SQL.
- Provide onsite infrastructure support including configuration and deployment of PCs and related software and administration of servers.
- Test programming changes due to bug fixes, enhancements, development, and version upgrades. Collaborate with programmers to drive quality output.
- Analyze data files and identify issues.
- Write requirements for software changes; coordinate changes with vendors and clients.
- Design, generate, and evaluate reports, queries, data, and procedures on systems, including scheduling and distribution of forms and mailings for periodic processes.
- Assist in the development, planning, and implementation of new clients.
- Provide technical support, training, and problem resolution to end users.
- Document system and client support processes.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or two years of experience working in a third party administrator environment with applicable technical expertise.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and applications.
- Basic understanding of business practices with good understanding of project management methodology.
- An understanding of database systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work with a diverse group of professionals in close cooperation.
Nice to Have
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or two years of technical training.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Two years experience supporting and/or developing applications that use an IBM Series I environment.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment or a third party administrator.
- Experience working with Taft Hartley businesses.
