CloudLinux is looking for a Business Systems Analyst - Quality & Product Owner to own the logical integrity and quality of a specific product domain. You will act as the 'Guardian of Logic,' working alongside a Staff Engineer to ensure architecturally sound features that fulfill deep user scenarios and prevent 'toxic code' from being written.
What You'll Do
- Own the 'Source of Truth' for your domain, challenging requirements to prevent 'Dark Architecture' and ensure logical integrity.
- Map out complex business-logic flows and 'Chaos Scenarios' to ensure deliverables remain unbreakable in production.
- Act as the first line of defense against 'Toxic Code' by validating logic before development starts.
- Leverage modern AI tools to instantly generate high-fidelity technical specs, edge-case matrices, and user stories.
- Audit AI-generated tests and documentation to ensure they provide real-world value.
- Drive outcomes through direct communication and clear, prioritized roadmaps, reducing the need for endless alignment loops.
- Monitor quality throughout the lifecycle using observability tools to see how logic performs in the real world and iterate fast.
What We're Looking For
- Logical Rigor: Ability to spot contradictions in workflows and think in 'Systems,' not just 'Features.'
- Advanced AI Workflow: Daily use of LLMs to speed up analysis, documentation, and technical writing.
- Ownership DNA: Proactively explore the product, identify risks, and own the functional solution end-to-end without waiting for direction.
- Candid Communication: Provide direct, unvarnished feedback and aren't afraid to say 'No' to requests that threaten product stability.
Nice to Have
- 5+ Years as a BA or Product Architect with a track record of decomposing complex systems, ideally in Linux, Security, or Enterprise SaaS.
- Technical Fluency: Ability to read a bit of Python or SQL and comfort with the Linux command line.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience with vulnerability management or open-source software lifecycles.
