The Indiana Department of Correction / Madison State Hospital is seeking a Business Systems Administrator to provide direct agency-wide support for critical business systems. You will be instrumental in ensuring the timely procurement of technology, managing IT assets, coordinating telecommunications, and serving as a key liaison with state and external technology partners.
What You'll Do
- Administer and manage ITSM tools like ASM, ServiceNow, and CRM ticketing queues.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all request, incident, problem, and change records.
- Create and maintain IT workflows, knowledge documents, and communications for IT and business partners.
- Maintain and improve internal IT SLA levels.
- Review systems and business effectiveness to recommend process improvements.
- Manage international travel equipment and coordinate seamless handoff and return with IOT.
- Order, track, and maintain all wireless devices.
- Conduct periodic IT asset inventories to ensure accurate tracking.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
- Act as the IEDC Security Coordinator, using IOT tools for monitoring and remediating cybersecurity risks.
- Work with the IOT Security team to plan and manage phishing campaigns and awareness training.
- Serve as primary administrator for internal systems like Concur, Ironclad, Formstack, Lessonly, and Monday.com.
- Monitor system health, manage user access and accounts, and ensure security.
- Verify functionality of agency automations and support their development.
- Prepare detailed reports for management.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Four years’ of professional IT experience.
- Knowledge of business process mapping and technical writing for creating SOPs.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Office Suite and applications like SharePoint, Teams, and Booking.
- Ability to learn existing processes and suggest improvements for more efficient operations.
- Ability to handle confidential data securely and in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform well under stressful time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and shift focus quickly.
- A detail-oriented, highly organized team player who consistently meets deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with state government or agency processes and procedures.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power BI and Power Automate.

You will act as a liaison between IEDC and the State IOT Security Coordinator, as well as between IEDC and non-State technology consultant partners.
