Farmers Insurance is hiring a Business Solutions Analyst to partner with business teams in designing and implementing complex, data-driven systems and solutions. You will be instrumental in developing analytics solutions and enterprise-wide data integration strategies that enable key business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Develop complex value-based analytics solutions for quality, business process functionality, and strategic initiatives (20%).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and establish analytics requirements (10%).
• Create detailed documentation and business plans that address stakeholder needs (10%).
• Liaise between IT, data science/R&D teams and Product Management for analytics models and data solutions (10%).
• Develop and implement complex enterprise-wide data integration strategies utilizing data-marts and data warehouse applications (20%).
• Work across departments to develop and execute project plans, and improve data platforms, dashboards, and reports (10%).
• Consult on UAT, technical specifications, strategic planning, contract design, technical support, testing updates, and trainings (10%).
• Learn and use new Microsoft Office Products, SQL, and other tools to extract data and build dashboards (10%).

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analyst position.
• In the alternative, a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analyst position.
• 3 years of experience working in the P&C insurance industry.
• 3 years of SQL coding experience, including Tables, Window Functions, Case Statements, and Partition.
• 3 years of experience working with Excel analytical tools, including pivot tables, charts, data validation, and what-if / scenario analyses.
• 3 years of experience working with Excel data management tools, including data tables, linking across files, nested formulas, array formulas and data cleaning.
• 3 years of experience working with Power BI Dashboards and metric builds.
