Southern California Edison is hiring a Business Resiliency Team Readiness Senior Specialist

As a Business Resiliency Team Readiness Senior Specialist, you will be crucial in supporting the company’s preparedness and ensuring Incident Management Team personnel are fully trained and prepared to fulfill their disaster roles and responsibilities.

What You'll Do

  • Execute business resiliency exercises, assessments, communication, and training programs.
  • Support business resiliency incident management activities within crisis management processes and monitor lessons learned.
  • Provide input into operational metrics for progress and compliance of plans and programs for leadership review.
  • Facilitate training and awareness, including training on management tools used for documentation.
  • Liaise and coordinate with various internal teams and support teams to implement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development, administration, and maintenance of incident management programs.
  • Develop and coordinate good working relationships with emergency responders.
  • Review risk assessments, analyze the effectiveness of information security control activities, and report on them with actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure the protection of all company physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets, and properly access and manage private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other highly sensitive information and data.

What We're Looking For

  • Five or more years of experience in dealing with emergency management, business resiliency, or facility preparedness.

Nice to Have

  • Experience on an Incident Management Team, or as an Emergency Operations Center responder or part of an Emergency Operations Center cadre.
  • Experience making recommendations on exercise objectives and formats.
  • Experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with or for an electric utility.
  • Experience with WebEOC or other online Emergency Operations Center platform.
