Givaudan is looking for a Business Reporting Junior Developer to join our Budapest site. In this role, you will provide essential controlling and reporting services to our global Finance and Controlling organization, ensuring execution meets agreed service levels and regulatory standards. You will focus on reporting dashboard development, data management, and subsequent maintenance, contributing to our mission of creating happier, healthier lives.
What You'll Do
- Prepare systems, load data, check quality and accuracy, and maintain master data for reporting cycles.
- Populate reports within agreed SLAs, perform data adjustments, and ensure data completeness before distribution.
- Escalate major data deviations to management and suggest corrective solutions.
- Provide business support and perform ad-hoc reporting upon request.
- Maintain and develop dashboards using tools like Tableau or macro-Excel under guidance.
- Prepare data sets, work with systems and databases, and automate dashboard refreshes.
- Gather and translate customer requirements using Design Thinking and Agile approaches.
- Document and maintain report requirements in detail designs, report inventories, and KPI dictionaries.
- Handle technical design for reports, check data availability, and manage change requirements.
- Perform testing, report issues, and provide user support for reporting applications.
- Drive improvement projects and support harmonization within the Reporting Center.
- Participate in IT projects to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Prepare and update work instructions and process manuals.
- Explore new technologies and develop new solutions.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in business, information technology, or science.
- Fluent English.
- 0-2 years of work experience in controlling or with reporting tools.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Some experience with reporting applications (like BO WebI, BO Analysis, BeX query designer) and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SAP BW Hana.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of VBA macro.
- Proven experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
- Skills in User Experience, Data visualization, or data storytelling.
