About the Role

TD Bank is hiring a Business Process Manager I to oversee communication and procedure content for all of US Customer Assistance (Collections & Recovery). In this role, you will drive quality and timeliness in document reviews, create efficiency gains, and validate accuracy across operations.

What You'll Do

  • Review work instructions, letters, and communications for US Customer Assistance (Collections & Recovery).
  • Drive results in quality and timeliness of the annual review of all documents, including customer-facing communications.
  • Create efficiency gains and validate accuracy in all areas.
  • Lead a team of professionals and may be accountable for leading projects within a business area.
  • Ensure communication, implementation, and/or training plans are identified and detailed to implement projects.
  • Be responsible for 25 processes of medium complexity.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and/or automation opportunities.
  • Gather, prioritize, and explain user requirements to support project activities and systems development.
  • Serve as a consultant, providing advice and recommendations on business and operational processes.
  • Prioritize and manage your own workload, and possibly the workload of others, to meet deadlines.
  • Represent the business and provide coordination on high-risk/impact projects with external providers and other bank areas.
  • Use project management software/tools to prepare documentation, track progress, and report information.
  • Ensure accuracy in preparing and completing all required supporting documentation for assigned projects.
  • Identify, take ownership of, and assist with resolution of issues as they arise.
  • Participate as a team member in executing assigned deliverables.
  • Keep business leaders and team members informed about project status and relevant activities.
  • Continuously develop knowledge in your area to support the project team and business.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of bank operations experience.
  • Strong PC skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite software.
  • Skilled in research, analysis, problem solving, metrics, and reporting.
  • Ability to identify process gaps and weaknesses.
  • Strong interpersonal and influence skills to enable change without direct control.
  • Ability to prepare and present findings and recommendations in a methodical manner.
  • Skilled in time management and driving tasks to completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

Nice to Have

  • Aptitude and training in Lean, Six Sigma, and AOM with a goal of achieving certification.

Technical Stack

  • Microsoft Suite software

Team & Environment

You will lead a team of professionals and provide people management leadership. You may also be accountable for leading projects within the business area.
