WEX Inc is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst III to partner with our analytics community, risk teams, and commercial groups. You will create best-in-class reporting to monitor WEX product and portfolio performance across the customer lifecycle. Your insights will help find opportunities to improve credit journeys and control future losses.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the WEX analytical community to ensure data availability for use cases and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with commercial teams, LOBs, and risk functions to identify KPIs and KRIs.
- Leverage SQL and Python to query data and run analysis.
- Develop dashboards and packaged reporting for key stakeholders.
- Review KPI/KRI reporting for trends and pair with business activities to drive actionable outcomes.
- Prepare strategic reporting and action plans for management in collaboration with LOB and risk stakeholders.
- Act as the point of contact for business requests from commercial teams and Finance.
- Communicate with data vendors to bring in external data and monitoring tools for risk analytics.
- Automate reporting using Tableau and other tools.
- Create presentations for business and risk leaders to report findings.
- Trace data origins in processes and operations to ensure correct interpretation.
- Help identify root causes for adverse trends in risk or credit performance.
- Propose actionable insights to reduce credit risk while supporting growth targets.
- Evaluate and query complex data sets to shape financial forecasts.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years supporting financial services and/or credit risk.
- Expert-level working knowledge of SQL and Snowflake.
