ATPCO is looking for a Business Development & Industry Relations Intern to join our Strategy organization. You will help build and manage a single, living system of record for 'everything industry-utility at ATPCO,' connecting engagements to strategic priorities and surfacing partnership opportunities to help leaders align, decide, and execute faster.
What You'll Do
- Learn the air travel industry utility landscape and how organizations intersect with ATPCO across the airline ecosystem.
- Map relevant forums and working groups, maintaining an at-a-glance organizational and interaction map.
- Stand up and maintain an Engagement Inventory & Taxonomy of ATPCO-industry utility touchpoints.
- Normalize and organize agendas, minutes, and decisions in SharePoint; maintain change and decision logs.
- Draft 3–4 partnership theses focused on quick wins and scalable bets.
- Propose and pilot a lightweight operating model with antitrust guardrails.
- Build a simple metrics dashboard tracking engagement coverage, decision cycle time, and opportunity pipeline.
- Produce executive communications ahead of key engagements and refresh them regularly.
- Run stakeholder interviews, synthesize insights, and translate them into clear recommendations.
- Monitor adoption and quality of the 'engagement office' and iterate based on feedback.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent research, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to turn ambiguity into structure.
- Skilled at gathering and synthesizing internal and external data into concise briefs.
- Strong writing and communication; comfortable with stakeholder interviews and executive summaries.
- Proficient with spreadsheets and information organization (Excel/Sheets).
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with airline industry topics.
- Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, spreadsheets, light SQL/CSV, process or RACI mapping, and Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with Airtable.
