Scalesource is looking for a Business Development Associate to expand our referral network in the Louisville market. In this remote role, you will build relationships with professionals who can refer business to us, focusing on connecting with new partners and increasing brand awareness in the local restoration industry.
What You'll Do
- Reach out to professionals such as insurance agents, property managers, plumbers, and contractors to introduce our services and build long-term partnerships.
- Aim to connect with 20+ new potential referral partners each week.
- Stay in touch with partners through calls, emails, and virtual meetings to build trust and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Help increase brand visibility through outreach, digital networking, and marketing campaigns.
- Share company materials and information with referral partners.
- Join virtual events, online networking groups, and industry communities to look for opportunities to expand our network.
- Use the company CRM system to track outreach, meetings, and relationships.
- Provide simple weekly updates on outreach activity and new contacts.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or relationship-focused roles.
- At least 2 years of experience building professional relationships or referral partnerships with external stakeholders such as clients, vendors, partners, or service providers.
- Experience conducting 20+ outreach activities per week (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, or meetings) to generate new business opportunities or professional relationships.
- Minimum 2 years of experience using a CRM system (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar) to manage contacts, track outreach, and monitor sales or partnership activity.
- Experience managing 10 or more active client, partner, or referral relationships at the same time.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $1,500 USD per month.
