About the Role

Solplanet is looking for a Business Developer to own the sales strategy and revenue generation for our solar and energy products in the Greece region. Driven by the idea of solar for everybody, we passionately strive to create the best possible experience for our partners and end-users.

What You'll Do

  • Set sales targets and KPIs and develop sales strategies for your regional markets.
  • Ensure revenue generation in accordance with agreed KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular meetings and reviews.
  • Drive the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to acquisition.
  • Define strategies, goals, and implementation plans.
  • Initiate and conduct regular product training and updates with local technical teams.
  • Provide product and market-related information to internal teams to assist in product development.
  • Develop and support marketing activities in close collaboration with local market teams.
  • Provide support on accounts receivable activities, order processing, and related tasks.
  • Be open to regular regional and international travel.

What We're Looking For

  • In-depth knowledge in PV, energy storage systems, and EV chargers in distribution and/or utility scale segments, including product specifications, grid codes, and the competitive landscape.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify new opportunities and customers.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to establish and maintain trust.
  • Ability to close deals effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in the local language and business fluent in English.
  • Self-motivated, performance-driven, with a can-do attitude and hands-on mindset.
  • Proactive, dynamic, solution and customer-oriented.

Nice to Have

  • Prior work experience in a PV-related industry.
