Responsibilities
- Meet Long Range Planning, budget and performance reviews milestones together with contribute with analytical insights and decision support , review and update strategies for LRP, support Business Finance in preparing 10 year financial plan, contribute to preparation of corporate LRP premises;
- Develop and maintain intelligence on for example market, capacity developments, supply/demand trends, trade flows, competitor profiles, segment mapping, cost curves benchmarks and value chain dynamics;
- Execute first screening of project opportunities as they arise - support Business Directors in pursuing project opportunities related to new investments;
- Analyze business performance, identify value creation levers, and highlight profitability, revenue growth, and cost reduction opportunities creation levers, and highlight profitability, revenue growth, and cost reduction opportunities;
- Support to Business Directors in preparing monthly business review reports, and presentations for Leadership Team;
- Provide training, guidance, and functional expertise as needed, to assist others in the organization to improve business efficiencies;
- Contribute to the dissemination of market intelligence through dashboards or other automated tools;
- Actively contribute to shaping Newco’s processes, tools, and ways of working, rather than operating within a fixed or inherited structure and support initiatives beyond traditional role boundaries when needed, balancing rigor with pragmatism in a fast evolving organization.
Requirements
- Master’s degree preferred in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field;
- 5+ years current experience in business analysis, strategic planning, evaluation, performance management, business or financial analysis or a related analytical role are essential;
- Proven experience supporting commercial and/or operational decision making in complex, data intensive environments making in complex, data intensive environments;
- Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels, balancing long term thinking with short term priorities term thinking with short term priorities;
- Fluent in English both written as oral.
Nice to Have
- Good understanding of the petrochemical industry, particularly olefins/polyolefins business, has a preference;
