What You'll Do
Work directly with executive and senior management to guide profitable growth and disciplined cost control. Deliver clear, data-driven analysis that shapes business decisions and strategic direction. Develop and track key financial metrics, focusing on revenue performance and functional spending to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Lead forecasting cycles—monthly, quarterly, and rolling—providing accurate, forward-looking views of business performance. Support the annual budget process, ensuring timelines are met and financial targets are clearly defined and monitored. Enhance reporting capabilities by advancing business intelligence tools and reducing manual processes through automation.
Improve variance and trend analysis to uncover actionable insights, helping teams respond to financial shifts quickly. Contribute expertise to strategic initiatives and special projects, particularly those tied to revenue optimisation. Identify and eliminate non-essential activities, streamlining processes across finance and operations.
Document financial controls, procedures, and responsibilities to ensure consistency and accountability. Build strong relationships at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor who translates financial data into practical business guidance. Use commercial insight to support leadership decisions and continuously refine systems for better accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial business partnering with executive and senior management teams
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling and manipulation of large datasets
- Strong analytical ability to interpret financial trends and deliver clear, actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on collaboration
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ICAS
- Experience with finance systems including Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365
