Thomson Reuters is hiring a Business Applications Consultant to serve as the primary product and solutions expert for our C-Track software within our Court Management Solutions (CMS) division. In this remote role, you will advocate a product-first approach while collaborating closely with the Engagement Manager, Solutions Engineer, and other team members to ensure the successful end-to-end delivery of our software solutions to clients.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary C-Track product and solutions expert for both the client and Thomson Reuters CMS.
- Lead or support requirements gathering and business analysis through techniques like business process modeling and data gathering.
- Organize and analyze materials such as design documents, test specifications, and other scoping material.
- Complete tasks with input from the Engagement Manager or Senior Business Applications Consultant.
- Support the development of customer-specific test plans in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team.
- Lead or support data analysis and mapping activities from one system to another.
- Configure the C-Track solution.
- Participate in data migration activities.
- Provide customer-facing training.
- Travel may be required to support project activities, training, and go-lives.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Implementation Analysis, or related work.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Management Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Passion for learning and mastering complex system functionality and techniques quickly through instruction and self-training.
- Ability to act independently on tasks that are both self-determined and assigned by the engagement manager.
- Ability to flexibly adapt to a changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to comfortably present to groups and communicate complex information concisely.
- Highly organized and computer literate with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build relationships across teams in a remote environment and interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives and subject matter experts.
- Ability to gather and communicate technical details.
Nice to Have
- Experience with or understanding of judicial/court processes.
