Thomson Reuters is hiring a Business Applications Consultant (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main subject matter expert for the C-Track product and solutions, representing both client and internal CMS teams with a focus on product-centric strategies
  • Lead or assist in collecting and analyzing business requirements using methods such as reviewing system documentation, translating business needs into functional designs, modeling workflows, and gathering data
  • Review, interpret, and organize technical materials including design documents, test specifications, and project scoping artifacts
  • Complete assigned tasks with guidance from an Engagement Manager or Senior Business Applications Consultant
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to develop and execute customer-specific test plans, validate new features, and identify software or service issues
  • Lead or support efforts to analyze and map data during system transitions or integrations
  • Travel may be necessary to support project execution, training sessions, and system launches

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in business systems analysis, implementation analysis, or a closely related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Management Information Systems, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for rapidly learning and mastering complex systems through training or self-directed study
  • Proven ability to work independently on tasks initiated either autonomously or by a manager
  • Adaptability in dynamic and evolving work environments
  • Strong communication skills, including confidence when presenting to groups
  • Ability to convey complex technical or business concepts clearly and logically
  • Highly organized with strong computer literacy and advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of building cross-functional relationships in a remote work setting
  • Professional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with executives, managers, and specialists, and to drive group alignment
  • Skilled in collecting and articulating technical specifications and system details

  • Familiarity with judicial or court-related processes is advantageous
