Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Business Analyst (Remote - US). You will be a key contributor in optimizing and standardizing mountain resort operations, with a focus on product configuration and data governance. This role bridges innovation with tradition, requiring you to collaborate closely with technical and business teams to streamline processes, enhance the guest experience, and build scalable systems for growth.
What You'll Do
- Lead business analysis activities for key resorts, including product gap analysis, POS configuration, and cross-team collaboration.
- Support the development and rollout of standardized product catalogs across lines such as lift tickets, rentals, and ski schools.
- Facilitate change management, documentation, and training related to product configuration standards.
- Coordinate with ecommerce and lodging teams to align bundled offerings within the POS ecosystem.
- Drive product and data governance initiatives, ensuring standards are maintained across reporting and analytics.
- Act as the point of contact for ongoing technical support and troubleshooting during implementation rollouts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect feedback and integrate it into product development cycles.
- Contribute to the drafting of playbooks, framework documentation, and reporting data flows.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years working with RTP as a product configurator.
- Proven experience in gathering requirements, creating acceptance criteria, and validating technical solutions.
- Solid background as a business or technical analyst.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms like Inntopia and Aspenware.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition mapping in POS systems.
- Expertise in data validation using tools like SQL or Power BI.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience in technical/business analysis or product management.
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably in ski or resort industries.
