Boost IT is hiring a Business Analyst - Hybrid Remote - Porto

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Support Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, data mappings, and use cases.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs and define MVPs.
  • Track and manage tasks and requirements using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Continuously assess business processes for improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in agile environments.
  • Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and model business processes and workflows.
  • Fluent English – both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
