About the Role

Nomura is looking for a Business Analyst at its Services India office in Powai to support global businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering IT infrastructure projects, managing a range of stakeholders, and ensuring all activities comply with PMO standards.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver IT infrastructure projects to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Maintain project plans, WBS, RAID logs, and change control processes.
  • Function as the key interface between IT and business teams.
  • Ensure PMO compliance with clear, executive-level reporting.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to maintain flow and boost team efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and remove blockers to delivery and manage risks across technical and business areas.
  • Drive actions to closure and maintain audit-ready documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 8 to 10 years of IT infrastructure project management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and influential skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-divisions, teams, and regions, building relationships with colleagues at all levels from diverse departments and cultures.
  • Confident self-starter who can work under pressure, use initiative, and drive to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong hands-on skills with Excel and PowerPoint to create multiple reports.
  • IT infrastructure background with experience delivering technical/infrastructure-led projects.

Nice to Have

  • PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE, or Agile-related certifications are highly preferred.
