Optum Tech, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Business Analyst to create business intelligence solutions and models that directly improve health outcomes. In this role, you will analyze data, develop tools like dashboards and visualizations, and collaborate closely with US-based leaders and business stakeholders to drive actionable insights.
What You'll Do
- Create business intelligence solutions and models
- Perform analysis, interpret results, analyze and investigate, develop actionable insights and present recommendations
- Develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis
- Work and collaborate closely with US based leaders as a matrixed team environment
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand business problems, gather requirements, and demonstrate tools, solutions and analysis
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of work in data and business intelligence (BI) to connect dots and create insights (including dashboards)
- 4+ years of total experience in Tableau or Power BI
- 3+ years of total experience in SQL or Snowflake
- Experience with data manipulation and ETL software such as Alteryx, SSIS, etc.
- Experience with Agile and scrum methodologies
- Knowledge on Azure Fundamentals or Python
- Knowledge on DBT
- Proven solid verbal and written communication skills
- Proven solid attention to detail
- Proven ability to work in ambiguity
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration or related field
