Wipro is hiring a Business Analyst to join our team supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications in a Semiconductor Manufacturing Back End Factory. This role is critical for ensuring operational continuity, managing application changes, and providing expert support. What You'll Do
- Keep the factory running with minimal unscheduled downtime related to MES and automation applications.
- Act as Business Analyst for MES, responsible for business case validation, requirement gathering, functional specs, test cases, testing, and user verification.
- Own Change Management (CAB) for development or configuration changes implementing new functionality to the production floor.
- Serve as Tier 2 support for escalated MES application issues that Tier 1 cannot resolve, following established SLAs.
- Produce and review system installation, configuration procedures, and troubleshooting documentation for system technicians.
- Set up and review monitoring alerts to ensure system health regarding uptime, performance, and capacity, and propose resource capacity planning.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Identify current- and future-state business processes; create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications.
- Facilitate design sessions with the implementation team to define solutions and help business stakeholders envision the future.
- Handle submission of Change Request approval, review, and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years working experience as a Developer in MES applications for a Semiconductor Manufacturing Back End Factory, or 5 years working as a Business Analyst in the same field and industry.
- Ability to provide rationales on the integration points between MES and EI automation.
- Ability to correlate application design logic in relation to data model.
- Ability to read and build SQL statements to perform a business function or query.
- Demonstrates ability to articulate ideas with a good command of English during presentations or interactions.
- Demonstrates good command of English and Malay.
- Minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
