Societe Generale is hiring a Business Analyst to join its Trade Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for slicing projects into epics and user stories, proposing functional designs, conducting testing activities, and facilitating deployments. You will also handle the setup of core banking applications and provide application support.
What You'll Do
- Analyze business needs according to Product Owner priorities, study the impact, propose options considering planning and costs, and translate into user stories.
- Facilitate collaboration between Product Management and the Feature team, keeping business value in mind.
- Work closely with stakeholders to provide a coherent, comprehensive, and understandable order book and backlog.
- Support the team's knowledge of business processes with the Product Owner.
- Determine whether solutions exist inside or outside the business entity, understand technical constraints, and participate in product design.
- Contribute to exchanges and collaborate continuously with stakeholders (PO, BAs, Agile developers), communicating and advising on functional aspects.
- Conduct testing activities according to best practices, from defining the functional test strategy to performing tests. Contribute to the design of test cases, test plans, and test data.
- Contribute to managing user change (online help, training) led by the Product Owner.
- Facilitate and coordinate application deployments across environments.
- Participate in application support (“You build it, you run it”), analyze incidents, problems, and requests, and coordinate with other teams until closure.
- As a member of a Chapter, contribute to knowledge sharing and growth, ensuring alignment with guidelines and practices.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of total professional experience.
- At least 3 years in a Business Analysis related position.
- Understanding of Agile and Project methodologies: Scrum, SAFe, Agile, and Waterfall.
- Willingness to explore technical aspects, investigating logs, using APIs, and querying databases.
- High analytical skills.
- High interpersonal and communication skills.
- Curiosity and a flexible, adaptable approach.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiatives, and challenge the status quo.
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise work appropriately.

Work Mode
