What You'll Do
Partner with Product Managers to shape and refine product concepts, ensuring they align with business goals. Gather and assess business needs, then translate them into structured, unambiguous requirements for development teams. Develop comprehensive documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
Lead pre-grooming and grooming sessions to prepare backlogs and support sprint planning. Work closely with product, design, and engineering to build shared understanding of requirements. Clarify ambiguities during development and monitor feature implementation to confirm it meets original objectives.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong communication skills—able to ask insightful questions, articulate ideas clearly, and guide discussions with stakeholders
- Have proven experience documenting requirements in a logical, accessible format
- Apply analytical thinking to uncover dependencies, inconsistencies, and potential risks in project scope
- Offer practical solutions and sound recommendations when challenges arise
- Possess strong writing skills, particularly in crafting user stories, use cases, and functional requirements
- Be experienced in Agile workflows, including backlog refinement and sprint planning
- Work effectively in a remote, distributed environment
- Think from the user’s perspective and contribute to product strategy
- Be familiar with modeling tools such as UML or BPMN for visualizing processes and systems
