What You'll Do
As part of a global effort to refine machine translation, you'll assess short translated texts in Burmese. Your role involves comparing translations to their original source material and scoring them on a 1–5 scale based on how accurately they convey meaning.
You’ll choose the most accurate version when presented with multiple options and add brief explanations to support your decisions. The work focuses on natural, conversational language, and your input will directly influence how AI systems understand and translate Burmese.
Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in Burmese with strong reading comprehension
- Good understanding of English to interpret source texts and guidelines
- Ability to focus on subtle differences in meaning and expression
- Skill in giving clear, concise written feedback
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in translation, linguistics, or language education is a plus, though not required. Familiarity with informal language patterns improves success in the role.

Compensation
Payment is task-based, with an estimated hourly rate of $15.91 when completing 12 tasks at $1.326 per task. Actual earnings depend on your pace and experience level. You are engaged as an independent contractor.
